About this tool

Barside is a free, local-first desktop app that combines notes, tasks, a reading inbox, meetings, passwords, recordings and AI agents in one place. It replaces a stack of subscription tools like Notion, Slack, Zoom and 1Password with a single connected workspace. Features include linked notes, a note map, screen recording, transcription and webpage saving.
