These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of twelve.tools, operated by Amphibian Digital LLC ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in the United States. By accessing or using twelve.tools, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

twelve.tools is a curated directory that lists tools and websites. Listing can be free or paid ("Pro listing"). A listing consists of the submitted website URL, name, headline, description, category and screenshot, and is publicly displayed on twelve.tools.

2. Eligibility and allowed content

Anyone may submit a tool or website, provided the content is lawful and appropriate. We do not set a minimum age, but submissions must comply with these Terms. The following are not allowed:

  • Illegal activities, content or services.
  • Gambling, casino, drugs, weapons or other restricted categories as determined by our moderation.
  • Spam, malware, phishing, deceptive or fraudulent content.
  • Adult content, hateful content or content that infringes the rights of others.

We reserve the right to reject or remove any submission that does not comply with these Terms, at our sole discretion, without notice.

3. Your responsibilities

  • You confirm that you own the submitted website or have the right to submit it.
  • You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and not misleading.
  • You are responsible for the content of your website and your use of the service.

4. Free listings and backlinks

Free listings require a backlink to twelve.tools (or the display of our badge) on your website's homepage or footer. Your listing may go live once the backlink or badge is detected. If the backlink is removed, we may remove the listing. We may also remove free listings that remain unverified for a prolonged period.

5. AI-generated descriptions

Descriptions may be suggested using artificial intelligence. You are responsible for reviewing and editing the suggested content before publishing. We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated suggestions.

6. Payments and refunds

Paid (Pro) listings are one-time payments processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for these transactions. By purchasing a Pro listing you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

  • If your paid submission has not yet gone live, you may request a full refund.
  • Once your listing is live, the payment is non-refundable.
  • Refund requests must be made through our contact form.

7. Our rights

  • We may reject, delay or remove any listing at our discretion, including listings that violate these Terms.
  • We do not guarantee any particular placement, position, traffic, search ranking or results from a listing.
  • We may modify, suspend or discontinue the service (or parts of it) at any time.

8. Intellectual property

The twelve.tools name, logo, design and content are the property of Amphibian Digital LLC. By submitting a listing, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on twelve.tools and in related promotional materials.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amphibian Digital LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, traffic or revenue. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the United States.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
