About this tool

LithoCanvas is an Android app for people who collect minerals and art. Photograph a rock, mineral, gemstone, crystal or painting and the app suggests what it is. Mineral results come with an estimated confidence and typical properties such as hardness, crystal system, color and luster. Art results suggest style, medium, era and composition. You check each suggestion yourself; the app gives no valuation and no authenticity verdict.
