About this tool

Pinkoa is a free study timer with Koa, a pink koala who studies with you and naps on your breaks. Focus rounds of 25, 50 or 90 minutes (or your own), streaks, rewards, a to-do list, cosy study sounds and outfits for Koa. No account, no ads, works on your phone, in English, German and Finnish. Free printables for students and a free kit for teachers; optional Koa merch keeps it free.

The name: "pinkoa" is Finnish for "to run fast", and in Finnish student slang it means "to study hard". Built in Berlin in September 2026 by solo founder Laurens Laudowicz and run in public at pinkoa.com/dashboard.
