About this tool

QR Decode creates static QR codes for links, WiFi credentials, contacts, calendar events and plain text. Generation happens in the browser, so the data encoded in the code never leaves the machine. Exports are free PNG and SVG. The site also documents the part most generators skip: how the symbol grid, module size and quiet zone decide whether a printed code actually scans at a given distance, with a worked calculation for a 60 mm equipment tag. No account, no tracking of code contents, no expiry - a static code keeps working after the generator stops existing.
