About this tool

SortaSeat is a free seating chart generator that runs entirely in your browser. Paste a guest or student list and it builds a print-ready seating chart sorted A-Z by last name, with table assignments for weddings and events or row assignments for classrooms. Export a poster-ready 18x24 or 24x36 chart to print, or share a link. No signup, no upload — the list never leaves your device. Built for event planners, venues, and teachers who need a seating plan in minutes, not an afternoon in a design tool.
